In April, Reader's Digest, one of the world's best-selling magazines, revealed the winner of trusted brands in New Zealand in 2020. Famous New Zealand brand Whittaker's won the first prize and it is the ninth year in a row that Whittaker's has topped the list.

Whittaker's chocolate is a century-old family run company that has been around since 1896, it's popular in New Zealand and a must-buy gift for visitors from around the world. On Facebook, the brand has nearly one million followers. In a country with a population of just 4.2 million, this amount of followers is remarkable.

Whittaker’s also has fans here in China. In 2019 Chinese New Year, Whittaker's posted a video of Chinese New Year customs on its Instagram account and it was viewed over 10,000 times. Chocolates were strung up like firecrackers with theirs packets bursting open, much like the fireworks Chinese people set off to celebrate on New Year's Day.
今年七月,惠特克携手Chefco平台,为中国的优秀主厨们打造了一款独家定制的礼盒,为大家送去了其最骄傲的几款经典巧克力。 In July, Whittaker's teamed up with Chefco to create a custom-made gift box for Chefco chefs, delivering their special edition 'Tweats' and a block of classic dark.
主厨们收到礼盒后非常欣喜。照片上的他们笑得好像巧克力一样甜蜜,还没打开包装,脸上的表情就仿佛已经被感染了。
